As outlined in Article 13 of the Commission Decision (2005/629/EU and 2010/74/EU) on STECF, Members of the STECF and external experts shall act independently of Member States or stakeholders. They shall make a declaration of commitment to act in the public interest and a declaration of interests indicating either the absence or existence of any interest which might be considered prejudicial to their independence. Members of the STECF shall make annual declarations of commitment. Members of the STECF and external experts shall declare at each meeting of the STECF and of working groups any specific interest which might be considered prejudicial to their independence in relation to specific items on the agenda (click here to see declaration form).

In accordance with EU legislation on the protection of personnel data declarations are only published on the STECF web site when STECF members and external experts sign an authorisation form to use personal data on JRC websites in the context of STECF (click here to see authorization form). Scan-PDFs of authorized declarations will be placed on the STECF web site with the personal signature of the experts omitted.
